Handcrafted Kantha Saree: Reverse Kantha Delight

Fabric: Handwoven silk. A mix of two kinds of Mulberry silk (Resham silk and Bangalore silk) and Matka silk.
Work: We have been mastering this saree for the last two decades. For the warp and weft, we have used Bangalore silk and Resham silk, and the vertical woven stripes in the body are done using Matka silk. It has a sleek Jacquard border. And the pallu and blouse piece is adorned with our signature reverse Kantha embroidery.

Blouse Piece: Yes, a 1-meter silk cotton blouse piece in red with reverse Kantha work for the back and sleeves.

As each saree is entirely handmade, slight irregularities may occur—this is part of the charm of owning something crafted with love and care. Please note that colors may vary slightly from what you see in the picture. For longevity, we recommend dry cleaning.

Our signature kantha showcases the intricacies of hand embroidery which takes a lot of time to deliver. Each Kantha saree can take anything from 8 months to more than a year to be ready. And we might never make a second piece.
